French born Saxophonist, Composer and Educator Alex Madeline moved to the USA in 2013 to pursue his career as a musician. Recipient of the Paul Wagner Award in 2014 and the Queens Council on the Arts New Work Grant 2022, Alex has been performing around the world at prestigious venues such as the Carnegie Hall in NYC, the Blue Note NYC, the Kennedy Center, Saint Germain dès Près Jazz festival in Paris, the Mugham Center in Baku Azerbaijan, the Kursaal in Bern Switzerland and more. Since 2014, Alex collaborated with renowned musician such as multi Grammy award winner Terrence Blanchard, Jon Clayton or Bob James. In 2022, Alex Madeline received the New Work Grant form the Queens Council on the Art for his project “Alex Madeline Direction Band”. Alex Resides in NYC where he is frequently performing.
