Marcos Toledo is a jazz guitarist and composer born in Guadalajara, México and currently based in New York City. After studying in Mexico City’s prestigious Escuela Superior de Música he relocated to the big apple, where he got mentored by some of the most legendary jazz masters. He also performs in the city as a leader and a sideman. His albums, which consist of original compositions and standards, have been internationally acclaimed. His lines blur the lines between jazz and hard bop, with a very dynamic flow that bridges the gap between the classic tone of the genre and an innovative modern style.
