Multi-faceted guitarist Elias Meister is bringing a new trio to Dada. Effortless combining deep roots in Jazz, a strong affinity to rock and the simple song and an appetite for adventurous improvisations the German musician has developed a highly original sound and voice on the guitar. Equally at home performing on the biggest stages with record-breaking Grammy-winner Residente (such as Radio City Music Hall and the Latin Grammy Ceremony) and intimate clubs Elias Meister takes his listeners on a sonic journey that excites. On drums is the veteran musician Billy Mintz, who has been a staple of the New York Jazz scene since the 70s which has led him to perform with Lee Konitz and Charles Lloyd. Marcos Varela on bass completes the trio. He has performed with such luminaries as Billy Hart, Geri Allen, Jonathan Kreisberg and the Mingus Big Band. The trio will perform original compositions, some known Jazz tunes and some popular songs with a twist.
