On this edition of Environs we are excited to witness the possibilities of friends and collaborators creating experimental work together in real time. Daniel Fishkin and Jim Strong’s works are variously informed by the invention and crafting of handmade instruments, and practices that run from environmental and site-specific work to visual and sound art. Willow and Skye present a collaborative performance combining experiences in ecological writing, environmental science, music, and art. Host Harrison Adams opens the evening with keyboard explorations informed by deep listening and natural phenomena.
