With the seasons changing and this being my first ever cake and cupcake pop up, I hope to get Ridgewood ready for the autumn. DADA is a beautiful space and I hope to provide an exciting and cozy atmosphere while serving seasonal cake slices and cupcakes! This offers a lovely Saturday afternoon occasion that brings something new to the neighborhood, and besides, who doesn't love cake? I look forward to meeting new people and getting a head start to sharing my love for this delicious craft with you!

Caitlyn Medina is a 20 year old pastry chef from Glendale, Queens. After opening her home baking business at 13 and graduating high school, she attended pastry school in France for almost a year. Before she came home, she got the chance to spend some time working at a bakery in Paris to further my experience. Less than three weeks upon her return, she began working on the pastry team at Michelin-starred Gramercy Tavern at the age of 18, where she stayed for nearly 1 1/2 years. Medina recently took on a larger role by becoming a pastry sous chef at the West Village's renowned L'Artusi. She proudly make everything from scratch using strictly her own developed recipes, heavily leaning into the seasons to determine her use of produce and ingredients! "My dream is to open a bakery and share my passion with as many people as possible!"
