EXPERIMENTAL / ALT POP - Low Intervention: NTHNL, AC Wallace, & Spiral Eddie (DJ)

Low Intervention is an experimental music series curated by Annie Garlid, which brings together live sets and DJ sets.

Jacob “NTHNL” Rudin is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and electronic musician based in Brooklyn, NY. He makes deep and mesmerizing musical textures using a combination of live-looping, circular breathing and lo-fi beats, combining dazzling virtuosity with introspective joy. His playing is informed by years of studying classical music, Hindustani and Shakuhachi music, jazz, playing in rock bands, making electronic music, field recording and a handful of other sonic practices. He currently lives in Queens, NY, where he plays, teaches, and gives Soundbaths throughout the city and beyond.

AC Wallace is an ethereal alt pop project by Amanda Wallace, a Brooklyn-based performer and artist who uses voice and movement as a medium to explore connection. Wallace has appeared in works at HAU Berlin, The Whitney Museum, MoMA Ps1, Pioneer Works, Performance Space New York, and Center for Performance Research. She was in the cast of NYT Critics’ Pick “Bottom Of The Ocean,” directed intimate sensory experiences in the live ASMR performance, “Whisperlodge”, and performed in Monica Mirabile's "All things under dog, where two things are always true.”She was an artist in residence at Otion Front Studios, where she created the piece “other tongue”, exploring a continuum of body, sculpture, and sound.

Spiral Eddie is a Brooklyn-based selector and producer of electronic dance music. A crate digger and avid student of dance music history, Spiral Eddie's DJ sets and musical productions are genre agnostics, championing deeper, searching sounds across the house, techno, minimal and non-dance music spectrum. SE has played frequently across hallowed New York City underground club institutions including Bossa Nova Civic Club, Mansions, Mood Ring and Nightmoves and The Lot Radio.
