Located in the heart of Ridgewood, our elegant and versatile venue is artist-owned, and ideal for events ranging from formal receptions, to intimate gatherings and work functions. The decor has modernist touches, with Scandinavian designer furniture, wood and marble details, and a carefully curated selection of art pieces.

Dada features a craft cocktail bar and indoor space, with a secluded and stylish outdoor garden area with seating. A full range of café and bar services are available, as well as a varied food menu. The wine and cocktail selection are expertly curated.

We tailor each event to individual and specific needs. Tiered open bar packages are available, with a selection of nonalcoholic drinks, beer, mixed drinks, as well as our organic and natural wines.

Our food menu is also tailored to each event, and can include a variety of dishes, with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options available.

Dada owner and founder Emil Bovbjerg comes from a career in music and audio recording. In creating and installing the sound system at Dada, he relied on decades of experience building and setting up critical-listening spaces using state-of-the-art-speakers and audio equipment for recording studios. 

Backline available: [Gretch Catalina Club] drum set (no cymbals), Bass Amp and cab (Aguilar AG 700 + SL212), Vox AC30C2 tube guitar amp, Tascam Model 16 on-stage PA mixing console, Korg Grandstage X electric stage piano and organ,  keyboard/guitar amp, 2 mic stands, 1 keyboard stand and 2 QSC PA speakers, 2 dynamic AKG mics.

DJ backline available: Allen & Heath Xone 92 Mixer, 2x Technics 1210 mkii Turntables (bring own stylus and cartridge), 2x Pioneer CDJ 2000.
