Los Cielitos, “The Little Skies” is a husband-and-wife Bolero duo featuring Canadian vocalist/bassist Jill Peacock and Dominican guitarist/vocalist Yasser Tejeda. Revered through so many decades, Boleros are cherished Latin American love songs spanning the 1930’s -1950’s that tell stories of romance and heartache. Los Cielitos has created a collection of these classic boleros in their own way; while paying homage to the groups they adore like Eydie Gourmet and Los Panchos.
The rich vocal harmonies, virtuosic guitar and sincere performances are what make this record, and this group, so special. Let them transport you to a warm sonic landscape of swaying palm trees, gentle waves and love songs floating on the night air. Their debut self-titled album was released on May 16, 2025.
