Zahra & Rokka present an evening of live environmental sound composition — field recordings from New York, Tokyo, and Tehran layered in real time alongside musicians Mahiri Fainke, Baba Moussa, May Yu, and Kristina Rossi. American, Persian, and Japanese musical traditions meeting West African percussion in a single room. The audience becomes part of the music through live sampling and call and response.
