Drawing together an eclectic mix of downtempo styles, Brooklyn-based vinyl specialist "lossy" uses familiar sources to create his own brand of postmodern lounge music. Taking cues from elevator music, leftfield electronics, and nocturnal R&B–sometimes all at once–his sound is both fresh and timeless with a distinct, jazzy pulse.
